Working with Children
Workforce Guardian's online HR system and support service includes tools and resources to help employers ensure compliance with Australia's laws governing working with children.
Each state and territory government has laws which set out the legal responsibilities of both organisatons and individuals who work - or otherwise have contact - with children.
Most Australian states and territories also require organisations and individuals to implement specific risk management or other processes to ensure children are properly protected at all times. These may include mandatory reporting requirements, employee screening systems, or 'working with children checks'.
